How To Get In On EA's Battlefield V Open Beta, Along With Min And Recommended Specs

Are you eager to get an early shot at Battlefield V? Well, Electronic Arts (EA) has announced the start time for the game's open beta and it is just a few days away: September 4^that 1am PST.

This is the date that the game will be available to those who have pre-ordered the game or those that are members of EA Access, Origin Access Premier or Origin Access Beta. This early access to the open beta will only be exclusive for two days. Then, on September 6^th(1am PST), all Origin players on the PC, along with Xbox One and PlayStation 4 consoles will have access to the open beta.

Players who join in on the open beta will be able to battle on the Rotterdam map (Conquest mode) and Arctic Fjord (Conquest, Grand Operations). For gamers that want to make sure that they can jump in on the action the very second the open beta is available, preloading begins on September 3^rd(1am PST).

You will have access to five tanks (Valentine Mk VIII, Churchill Mk VII, Churchill Gun Carrier, Panzer IV, Tiger I) and seven airplanes (Spitfire Mk VA, Spitfire Mk VB, Blenheim Mk IF, Bf 109 G-2, Ju 87 Stuka B-2, Ju 87 Stuka B-1, C47) in the open beta. You'll also have some heavy artillery to handle including anti-aircraft guns and anti-tank weapons to help even the playing field. And if that isn't enough, there will be German V-1 flying bombs delivering widespread destruction across the Rotterdam map.

Although Xbox One and PlayStation 4 gamers won't have to worry about such things, here are system requirements for PC gamers:

DirectX: 11.1 Compatible video card or equivalent
Online Connection Requirements: 512 KBPS or faster Internet connection
Available Disk Space: 50GB

The open beta ends on September 11^th(7am PST).
