Fall is almost here, which means cooler weather (unless you live in Texas where fall weather is at least three months away) and sports to watch on TV. This is when many cord cutters start to get nervous. It's great to not have to pay that cable (or satellite) bill, but it's not so great to miss out on all the cool fall shows and football games. Hulu has your back though with the announcement of a new Live TV streaming service that supports both Mac and PC platforms. Hulu hasn't come out and said that this service is beta, but it sure sounds like it is. Hulu is warning Mac and PC streamers that... Read more...

If you're a Destiny fan who's been dreaming of the day when you'd be able to play Destiny 2 at a smooth 60 frames-per-second, you're going to be hugely disappointed to learn that's not going to happen - unless you play on the PC. #PCMasterRace? Not so fast...  As baffling as it is, Bungie has admitted that Destiny 2 even on the PlayStation 4 Pro would be hard locked to 30 FPS. This is despite the fact that games like Battlefield 1 look better than the original Destiny, yet manage to exceed 30 FPS on the original PS4. Rocket League? 60 FPS. The just-released Injustice 2? 60 FPS. But Bungie's... Read more...
This spring, Microsoft is going to be launching a brand new online store for its ultra-popular Minecraft world builder. There are multiple goals that can be accomplished through this new portal: fans will have a lot of great new content to play, and community members who produce good content could reap the benefits of being featured on the store. One thing that will make this online store different from most is the fact that all of the content is curated, meaning that not just anyone can produce content and expect it to appear there. Ultimately, this is a very good thing, as it means that... Read more...

PC and console gamers have been at odds for decades. Microsoft, however, is attempting to broker a truce. The company insists that its “Play Anywhere” initiative for PC will not kill XBox One gaming. One journalist even received death threats... Read more...
