Red Dead Redemption 2 for the PC was one of the worst kept secrets in the gaming world, and Rockstar Games officially announced the title two weeks ago. Since the announcement, Rockstar has given us some insight into new missions and system requirements when the game lands next month. PC gamers may have had to wait for a long time for Red Dead Redemption 2 to hit the platform, but it's coming next month with new features in tow. Gamers who have already finished RDR2 on the console who are wondering if they should buy the game on PC will be glad to hear the game has new content for PC.  The new features include three new Bounty Hunter missions, including Herman Zizendorf, Camille de Millemont, and Bart Cavanaugh. There will also be two new gang hideouts to fight through with new Del Lobos hideouts in Gaptooth Breach and Solomon's folly. We've been hearing rumors for months that a PC port of the wildly popular game Red Dead Redemption 2 was on the way. Developer Rockstar has been mum on the release, even as more and more hints have leaked regarding its impending launch trickled out. Today, Rockstar confirmed that the game is coming to the Windows PC platform, and the launch date is right around the corner: November 5th. PC gamers were not happy when RockStar decided to forego the PC launch of Red Dead Redemption 2 (RDR2) right out of the gate. The move was no surprise, however. Rockstar game fans know that the developer will eventually launch RDR2 on the PC, it just wanted to wait until the fuss for the game on the console platforms dies down, and then port it to the PC to spur sales for a second time. Rumors about a port to the PC surfaced for the first time in June of 2018 before the game launched. Rockstar Games is celebrating the success of Red Dead Redemption 2, its highly anticipated sequel that debuted nearly eight and a half years ago. The second game in the franchise is being lauded by reviewers, and it's found a massive audience among gamers. In just three days since it launched, RDR2 has raked in over $725 million. That is not just an obscene figure, it's the single-biggest opening weekend in the history of entertainment, according to Rockstar. Well, bust our britches, it appears that Rockstar Games will in fact release its highly anticipated and well received Red Dead Redemption 2 game to the PC platform, in case there was any doubt about that eventuality. While still not confirmed (drats!), digging through the code in the RDR2 companion app hints at a PC port in the making. The consensus around these part is that the PC is the superior gaming platform. Unfortunately, Rockstar Games sees things otherwise, at least from a business standpoint.
