OnePlus remarked that its margins in the United Kingdom have always been thin and its expenses are mostly in USD. The company, however, is not concerned about the phone selling because it is confident that the “OnePlus 3 is one of the best phones out there, and it’s our most successful product ever”. OnePlus is worried, however, about the recent drops in the value of the GBP (Great Britain Pound). The company has only had to increase prices once, when... Read more...
The successor to the OnePlus 2 is finally here, and as you could have easily surmised, it’s called the OnePlus 3 (does anyone want to place bets on what next year’s flagship will be called?). It’s a big step for us as a company, our fans, and fellow tech enthusiasts," OnePlus stated in a blog post. "After sending out millions of invites over the past two years, it’s hard to not think back to the early days and how far we’ve come. We’re proud to have reached a point where we feel confident in making our new device available... Read more...

OnePlus is looking to make a splash in the flagship smartphone market next month with the launch of its OnePlus 3. But before those festivities kick off, the company today announced a swanky promotion in which it is giving away 30,000 Loop VR headsets for free (plus $5 shipping). Unfortunately, those 30,000 slots were wrestled away quickly, but we’re still impressed that OnePlus decided to initiate such a large (and likely expensive) giveaway. If this all sounds familiar, it’s because OnePlus did something similar last year ahead of the OnePlus 2 launch. At that time, the company gave away 30,000 Google Cardboard VR Viewers so that folks could watch the OnePlus 2 unveil live in virtual reality.... Read more...
