OnePlus 2 And OnePlus X Prices Permanently Slashed Ahead Of Next Gen Flagship’s June Debut

If you’ve been contemplating purchasing a new smartphone from OnePlus, now just might be the best time to scoop one up for a relatively low price ahead of next month’s debut of the OnePlus 3. OnePlus announced today that it is dropping the price of the current OnePlus 2 flagship from $349 down to a low $299.

If you recall, the OnePlus 2 previously had its price reduced to $349 in February just in time for Valentine’s Day. It originally debuted in late July 2015 with a price tag of $389. The OnePlus 2 comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 v2.1 SoC, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, a 13MP rear camera with optical image stabilization a 5MP front-facing camera and dual nano SIM slots.

The mid-range OnePlus X is also shedding $50, falling from $249 to just $199.  The OnePlus X originally debuted in November, and brings with it a 5-inch AMOLED HD display, Snapdragon 801 processor with 3GB RAM, 16GB of internal storage, a 13MP main camera and an 8MP selfie camera.

If you’re purchased either smartphone in the past two weeks from OnePlus, you can contact customer support to request a price adjustment.

As for the upcoming OnePlus 3, the new smartphone is rumored to include an AMOLED display, Snapdragon 820 processor and 6GB of RAM onboard.
