3DMark is the never ending spigot of leaks, and more recently, we have seen a bunch of them pertaining to Intel's upcoming Tiger Lake-U series. That is what we have again here today. The latest leak is said to highlight an unspecified Tiger Lake-U processor with onboard Gen2 "Xe" graphics, in the Fire Strike benchmark. Tiger Lake-U is will be labeled as 11th generation Intel Core processors, and will succeed the company's 10th generation Ice Lake-U stack. They will be manufactured on an enhanced 10-nanometer node. Intel's first Tiger Lake processors, which are based on the 10nm process node, aren't expected to debut until the latter half of 2020. However, that isn't stopping early engineering samples of the chips from making an appearance in popular benchmark software. In this case, benchmark entries in both Geekbench 5 and SiSoftware were uncovered by TUM_APISAK. The Geekbench entry shows a 4-core/8-thread processor operating with a base clock of 1.19GHz. Given the "Y" designation, the low clock speed shouldn't be too surprising, as these are ultra-low power mobile processors. Deepfake photos and videos have fooled many people, but can text-generated articles be just as convincing? OpenAI recently published the full version of “GPT-2: 1.5B”, a text-generating artificial intelligence system. The research lab warns that the tool could potentially be dangerous if it is misused. OpenAI released a paired down version of its GPT-2 model this past winter. This model included 124 million parameters, while the latest release features more than 1.5 billion parameters.
