It seems as though every few weeks we hear additional rumors about NVIDIA's next-generation GeForce GTX graphics card family. The latest report suggests that the first of these new gaming cards, the GeForce GTX 1180, will arrive in July.  This information comes courtesy of Tom's Hardware, which claims to have confirmed the launch date with industry sources that are privy to NVIDIA's plans. NVIDIA's next-generation graphics architecture for the consumer market is highly anticipated. After all, the current-generation Pascal architecture was launched two year ago, although we've seen some meaningful updates at the high-end over that time period.  Given all the pent-up hype surrounding 12nm Turing GPU architecture, it's understandable that the rumormill is working overtime to try to piece together what NVIDIA has in store. Two years after the launch of Pascal, the gaming community is eager to see what NVIDIA has in store for its next generation of graphics cards. Luckily for us, SK Hynix may have just given us some additional insight into when NVIDIA's upcoming consumer graphics cards – which include the GeForce GTX 1180 and GTX 1170 -- will launch thanks to comments that were made at GTC 2018.
