The unveil of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 is less than a month away, which means that leaks have been coming in a relatively fast pace. We’ve seen various renders of the Galaxy Note 10 and even some real-life shots courtesy of the FCC. Today, we’re being graced with yet another look at the Galaxy Note 10+, this time courtesy of popular gadget leaker Evan Blass. Blass has been relatively quiet on the Galaxy Note 10 leak scene, leaving image reveals to other tipsters. However, this new leaked official press render shows the smartphone from a top ¾ view, giving us a look at the rounded sides of the chassis. This detail was harder to discern in the previous leaked... Read more...
The FCC is frequently the first place where we get a glimpse at real life images of a smartphone before it launches. The devices have to go through the FCC to get the approvals they need to be sold in the U.S., and the Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ is no exception. The Note 10+ has landed at the FCC, and the agency was kind enough to snap pictures and share them with the world. The images confirm the design that we have seen in renderings and via leaked smartphone case renderings. The FCC images show the triple camera array on the rear. Also noted on the back is an offset camera thought to be a depth sensor. There is another sensor under what is believed to be the depth sensor. One thing worth pointing... Read more...
The cat is pretty much out of the bag when it comes to Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Note 10 flagship Android smartphone. We’ve seen renders of the smartphone from all angles, which seemingly confirm that the device has axed its 3.5mm headphone jack in favor of USB-C. Today, we’re being graced with what appears to be new official renders of the Galaxy Note 10. We’re seeing the device from multiple angles posing with its S Pen stylus, and it’s an overall rather reserved design. From the front, there’s a single centrally-mounted selfie camera (which is interesting considering that the Galaxy S10 family can be had with dual cameras up front), while... Read more...
The Galaxy Note 10 will be the latest in a long line of pen-equipped, large-screen smartphones from Samsung. The original debuted back in 2011 with a massive (for its time) 5.3-inch display. The upcoming Galaxy Note 10, which will launch on August 7th, will reportedly be available in two display sizes: 6.3-inches and 6.75 inches. But we're learning from new reporting that one of the Galaxy Note family's hallmark features could be the primary reason why there hasn't been much design innovation in recent years. This comes from reliable leaker Ice Universe, who explained on Twitter that the existence of the S-Pen, and the space taken up by its silo, means that Samsung is unable to deliver... Read more...
There have been a bunch of leaks that allege to show what Samsung is cooking up with its new Galaxy Note 10. We have seen the device leaked in renders in the past and have seen what was alleged to be the device in the flesh. Samsung has also recently invited us to the launch event for the smartphone. Ahead of that official launch, some new renders have surfaced that allege to be the smartphone inside a case. One design choice Samsung made that is noted right off the bat, is that there is no 3.5mm headphone port on the Galaxy Note 10 renders indicating that Bluetooth will be the only way to go without resorting to a dongle of some sort, assuming a dongle is available. Rumors have also claimed... Read more...
It's getting close to that time of year again folks; the time when Samsung releases another Galaxy Note smartphone. Samsung today sent out invites to the press to partake in a Galaxy Unpacked event that will be held in New York City on August 7th.  The event will take place at 4pm EST at the Barclays Center. For those that won't be able to attend the actual event in person, Samsung will thankfully live stream the event from its website. The actual invite shows a black stylus and what appears to be a single camera lens beneath it. There were reports a few months back that the Galaxy Note 10 stylus might feature a camera onboard. We don't know if this is a reference to that rumor, or if has... Read more...
The first set of actual, real life photos of Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Note 10+ have leaked online, and assuming they are real, the pictures bring with them confirmation of a few details. One of those details is the overall rectangular shape of the Galaxy S10, as has been spied in previously leaked renders and case designs. It is essentially the exact same design as we have already seen, only instead of crisp and luscious renders, we have a few blurry photos in low lighting that look like they were taken with a Fisher Price camera from K-Mart. Check out this shot of the rear of the Galaxy Note 10+... Credit goes to Instagram user aaronthelegend._, who shared the photos with YouTuber TechTalkTV.... Read more...
We're still at least a few months away from the launch of Samsung’s Galaxy Note 10 flagship smartphone, but the leak train continues to steam ahead. Today, the newest leak give us some incredibly detailed renders of what the Galaxy Note 10 will look like when it us unveiled [most likely] in August. According to 91mobiles and OnLeaks, which joined forces to break this news, these latest renders are based on leaked CAD files and show the smartphone from every angle. The most dominate feature of the smartphone is no doubt its display, which on this particular model measures 6.3 inches (there is also expected to be a larger 6.75-inch option). The AMOLED display... When been hearing plenty of rumors about Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Note 10, and one of the most frequent ones has been that the device will forgo traditional buttons. A new report is now adding more credence to those rumors. According to a report from Android Police, it has received further confirmation that the Galaxy note 10 will usher in Samsung's latest push to kill physical buttons. In its place will be either pressure-sensitive or capacitive touch buttons that don't physically move. Such a move would help to improve water resistance, and perhaps to cut down on button failures, but we don't know how big of an issue that latter point is for users. While this shift has been expected... Read more...
The Galaxy Fold might be getting all of attention these days when it comes to Samsung's smartphone lineup -- for all the wrong reasons -- but there is a new flagship waiting in the wings. We're of course talking about the Galaxy Note 10, which probably won't be officially launched until sometime this summer (around August - September). However, we've been hearing quite a few rumors about the Galaxy Note 10 over the past few months, and we thought that we'd put them altogether in this article for you. At the most basic level, we're under the impression that the Galaxy Note 10 will most resemble the Galaxy S10 5G with respect to size, specifications and capabilities.... Read more...
When Samsung launched its Galaxy S10 family of smartphones in late February, it introduced no less than four variants (Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, Galaxy S10 5G). All four models vary in screen sizes, features and most importantly, price. With the release of the Galaxy Note 10, it appears that Samsung wants to introduce two distinct versions to give customers more choice. According to a fresh report from South Korean publication ETNews, the Galaxy Note 10 will be available in both 6.28-inch and 6.75-inch display sizes. The smaller variant would slot in between the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+ in size, while the larger variant’s display would outsize... Read more...
Now that the Galaxy S10 series launch is in the books, what comes next? That would be the Galaxy A70, a mid-range phone with some high-end features, slated for April. But after that, Samsung will take the wraps off its big daddy, the Galaxy Note 10, and rumor has it the next-gen phablet will launch during a press event in August. Nothing is yet official, though the time frame certainly makes sense. The current generation Galaxy Note 9 launched on August 9 last year, and a year before that, the Galaxy Note 8 made its public debut on August 23. Samsung seems to like the August launch window, likely because it can hog the spotlight before Apple jumps in with its usual September iPhone refresh. That... Read more...
Samsung is doing extremely well -- so far -- with its Galaxy S10 line of devices. The smartphones set a record in the U.S. for pre-orders showing that finally, Samsung appears to have a device that will lure users into upgrading. The S10's OLED dispaly has also scored the highest-ever A+ rating in the DisplayMate benchmark. Now that the devices are making their way into the hands of customers, many are looking into the source code to find hints at new features or additional models. Sleuthing into the source code of the Galaxy S10 kernel has unveiled hints that a 5G version of the Galaxy Note 10 smartphone is in the works. The discovery came after Samsung posted the source code for the Exynos... Read more...
U.S.-based wireless carriers are expected to start lighting up their first 5G wireless networks in late 2018 through early 2019, and enthusiasts that like to be on the bleeding edge are no doubt looking forward to the arrival of 5G smartphones. However, if you were expecting for Samsung's next Galaxy S iteration to have 5G, you're probably going to be disappointed by some new comments from a top company executive. At the Galaxy Note 9 unveil last week, Samsung Mobile President DJ Koh confirmed that the Galaxy S10 will not have integrated 5G wireless capabilities. According to Koh, there will be a "separate" smartphone released that will carry the torch as Samsung's first 5G mobile device. Although... Read more...
