Part of the reason why Microsoft decided to get into building hardware was to give its partners inspiration on how best to utilize Windows 10. That led to the Surface line, which Microsoft continues to update today. What is different, however, is that its hardware partners have Surface-like systems of their own. That includes Samsung with the introduction of its Galaxy Book, a premium 2-in-1 Windows 10 device. Like the Surface Pro, Samsung's Galaxy Book is a tablet that can be used as a laptop. Internet sleuths were all over a new listing in the Windows Store that appeared over the weekend. Developed by Samsung, the new app is called Book Settings. What caught everyone's attention is the description making a reference to a Galaxy Book, a device that does not yet exist (or has not yet been announced, anyway). This suggests that Samsung is getting ready to release a new convertible laptop for Windows 10.The description lists a handful of things contained in Book Settings, such as Battery Life Extender, Screen Mode, Pattern Log-in, a user manual, and other Samsung features.
