OCZ Vector 180 Solid State Drive Review: Barefoot 3 Optimized

CrystalDiskMark Benchmarks

CrystalDiskMark is a synthetic benchmark that tests both sequential and random small and mid-sized file transfers using incompressible data. It provides a quick look at best and worst case scenarios with regard to SSD performance, best case being larger sequential transfers and worse case being small, random transfers.

Our Vector 180 results were mixed in the CrystalDiskMark benchmark. In the sequential transfer tests, it finished behind most of the other drives, but in the all-important 4K transfer test it led the pack. And it continued to perform well as the queued depth was increased.
