Grand Theft Auto IV

The Lost and Damned is the first of two episodic expansion packs of GTA IV, developed by Rockstar North. Mid-mission checkpoints have been added to the game in order to spare players from repeated trips to starting location of a failed run. It features Johnny Klebitz, a member of Liberty City's The Lost biker gang, who carries out missions throughout the course of the game. We tested the game using the built in benchmark at 2560 x 1600, 8x aniso, and high image quality settings.

During GTA IV testing, both 5870s we tested showed a frame rate of 36 FPS. Gigabyte's GTX 470 SOC was 6% faster than the Matrix 5870, while the GTX 480 Amp Edition was 17% ahead. Although the 470 we're using is an overclocked model, it's disheartening to see it ahead of the Matrix 5870 in several games, especially considering the price difference ($499 vs $349).
