All eyes may be pointing towards Samsung's Galaxy S10 family of smartphones that will launch next week, but that also means that there are some excellent deals to be had on the current Galaxy S9 family. Today, we've got a smokin' hot deal on the current flagship Galaxy S9+ by way of eBay.

eBay seller never-msrp has listed the international version of the Galaxy S9+ complete with dual SIM slots, 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage for just $549.99. The smartphone also comes factory unlocked, meaning that it should work with just about any carrier around the globe (although you will need to pay attention to the supported carrier bands to make sure that you'll be able to achieve peak LTE speeds).

Given that this is the international version of the Galaxy S9+, you won't find the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor onboard. Instead, you’ll get the Samsung Exynos 9810 octa-core processor. Other specs are pretty much identical to the U.S. market Galaxy S9+ smartphones that you are familiar with including a 6.2-inch 2960x1440 display (which is covered in Corning Gorilla Glass 5), microSD slot (with support for up to 400GB cards), dual rear cameras and an 8MP selfie camera.

As for the onboard battery, there’s an integrated 3500 mAh unit that can be recharged either via the bottom-mounted USB-C connectors or via wireless charging.

The Galaxy S9+ is currently available brand new with a price tag of $549.99 with free shipping. Although the black and blue colors are currently sold out, the smartphone is still available in gray, purple and gold. Given that most flagships these days (save for OnePlus) are selling for at least $799 and regularly hit $999 or more, $550 is definitely a bargain for what is still a high-powered device (and one that is upgradable to Android 9 Pie).
