The stakes in the gaming smartphone arena are getting higher as more players enter the field. Razer got the ball rolling with the Razer Phone, and since then we've seen entries from the likes of Xiaomi and even ASUS. Back in April, Xiaomi revealed the original Black Shark gaming phone with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, 8GB of RAM and a 6-inch Full HD+ display. We've been hearing quite a bit about the Razer Phone 2 over the past few months, and today, the company finally announced its second-generation gaming phone. The Razer Phone 2 looks very similar to its predecessor, but includes key refinements internally and externally -- both for the better. The big internal change is the addition of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor in place of the old Snapdragon 835. Among a bevy of product announcements during a press event in Senzhen, China today, Xiaomi unveiled its newest flagship Android phone line, the Mi 8, Mi 8 SE, and Mi 8 Explorer Edition. All three look strikingly similar to Apple's iPhone X, which is to say they sport rounded corners and a full-size front display with a prominent notch along to the top to house a 20-megapixel selfie camera. HTC will launch its U12+ flagship smartphone next week, but new renders leaked today which show the device from the back and the front in three different colors. Today's leak also confirms many of the specifications that we've seen for the device over the past few months. The official unveil of the OnePlus 6 is just two days away, but as is the case with many of today's tech gadgets, the leaks just keep coming. The latest leak comes from Amazon Germany, which posted a product listing for the upcoming OnePlus 6 with a Mirror Black finish.  We should note that the product page didn't stay up long after it was first spotted and reported on, but that didn't stop the best images that we've seen of the device to date from being captured. At the end of March, we got our first glimpse at how the Galaxy Note 9 smartphone would perform when it turned up on Geekbench rocking a Snapdragon 845 SoC and 6GB of RAM. Those first benchmarks showed single core performance of 2190 and a multicore score of 8806. The Note 9 has turned up again on Geekbench with a new round of scores for us to look at. When it comes to unannounced smartphones, China's TENAA regulatory agency is comparable to the FCC in the United States and is prone to leaking device specs ahead of launch. After much anticipation, the LG G7 ThinQ has finally been fully revealed for all to see.
