HTC will launch its U12+ flagship smartphone next week, but new renders leaked today which show the device from the back and the front in three different colors. Today's leak also confirms many of the specifications that we've seen for the device over the past few months. For starters, the U12+ will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, which is pretty much a given for a 2018 flagship Android phone. That processor is backed by 6GB of RAM, and customers will have a choice of either 64GB or 128GB of internal storage. If the onboard storage isn't enough for your needs,... Read more...
The OnePlus 6 has been officially announced, and if you've been following the leaks over the past few weeks (and months), then you know exactly what to expect. First of all, let’s get the specs out of the way. OnePlus says that it wanted to give customers the fastest mobile experience possible, which means that the smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. The base configuration pairs that processor with 6GB of RAM, while the top configuration come with 8GB. Likewise, the base phone has 64GB of internal storage, while the range-topping model ups the... The official unveil of the OnePlus 6 is just two days away, but as is the case with many of today's tech gadgets, the leaks just keep coming. The latest leak comes from Amazon Germany, which posted a product listing for the upcoming OnePlus 6 with a Mirror Black finish.  We should note that the product page didn't stay up long after it was first spotted and reported on, but that didn't stop the best images that we've seen of the device to date from being captured. As its naming implies, the Mirror Black version of the OnePlus 6 has a highly reflective glass back. Joining the Mirror... Read more...
At the end of March, we got our first glimpse at how the Galaxy Note 9 smartphone would perform when it turned up on Geekbench rocking a Snapdragon 845 SoC and 6GB of RAM. Those first benchmarks showed single core performance of 2190 and a multicore score of 8806. The Note 9 has turned up again on Geekbench with a new round of scores for us to look at. You can see the Geekbench screenshot below. The new scores give a much-improved single-core Score of 2411. The multi-core score is down a bit from that initial run with 8712. The system information calls out the identical Samsung SM-N960U model number.... Read more...
When it comes to unannounced smartphones, China's TENAA regulatory agency is comparable to the FCC in the United States and is prone to leaking device specs ahead of launch. Such is the case with the upcoming OnePlus 6 flagship Android smartphone. A listing on TENAA confirms many of the specs of the smartphone, including the fact that it has a 6.28-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2280x1080. For those keeping score, the OnePlus 5T features a 6-inch display with a 2160x1080 resolution. After much anticipation, the LG G7 ThinQ has finally been fully revealed for all to see. Sure, there have been plenty of leaks along the way, but nothing beats getting a chance to have some hands-on time with a device, which is exactly what we were able to do at an LG event held in New York City last week. Needless to say, we think that LG has a winner here with their new 6.1-inch flagship. The G7 ThinQ is powered by Qualcomm's newest high-end SoC: the Snapdragon 845. As we saw in leaked benchmarks, the smartphone is going to be a real screamer among Android handsets. On board the G7... Read more...

On the right side, there's a power button, while on the left side there are volume buttons that are joined by a dedicated Google Assistant button. The top of the phone is... Read more...
Smartphones aimed specifically at gamers are few and far between. The most recent device to make such a claim is the Razer Phone, now available in a limited gold edition model, which sports a sleek design and an impressive collection of hardware and features. Sometime in the near future, however, Chinese outfit Xiaomi will launch a gaming phone through its Blackshark subsidiary, and a leaked photo shows what is in store. The photo originates from Weibo, a popular social media site in China. It appears the phone is in a case of some sort, perhaps one that offers up gaming controls, and it is a bit... Read more...
Samsung already refreshed its flagship smartphone family with the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+, so what's next for the South Korean handset maker is to focus on its phablet, the Galaxy Note. Don't worry, that is getting a refresh for 2018 as well, presumably very soon. We are starting to see leaked information appear in regards to the Galaxy Note 9, including some preliminary benchmark figures. Those benchmarks appear on Geekbench, a popular destination for such things. The database entry points to a "Samsung SM-N960U," which is almost definitely the Galaxy Note 9—the previous model (Galaxy Note... Read more...

Now that production is ramping up for Qualcomm's Snapdragon 845 processor, the next round of flagship Android smartphones are being announced (or leaked) at a quickening pace. Late last month, Xiaomi announced that its next flagship, the Mi Mix 2S, will launch on March 27th. Now an alleged leaked image of the upcoming smartphone shows that it may be one of the first devices to hit the market with an in-display fingerprint sensor. Smartphones aimed squarely at a gaming audience are quite rare, with the most prominent example being the Razer Phone, which was released last year with a 5.7-inch 120Hz Sharp-manufactured display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and a whopping 8GB of RAM. However, Nubia is looking to potentially one-up the Razer Phone with its own gaming smartphone. As expected, it touts 8GB of RAM and comes with a generous 128GB of internal storage (a microSD slot can further... Read more...
