Get Pixel 3 XL Unlocked For $350 Off And No Strings Attached With This Hot Deal

Google Pixel 3 XL
You can save a bundle on a Pixel 3 XL smartphone at Best Buy right now, which is selling the unlocked version of the handset for $549.99. That is $350 below its MSRP. Best Buy's discounted price also comes in below Google's own hefty $300 savings when buying from the Google Store, where it's on sale for $599.99.

This is for the model with 64GB of built-in storage, and in the Just Black color option. It appears both Best Buy and Google are trying to empty their inventories of the Pixel 3 family, as the Pixel 4 series will launch less than two weeks from now—Google has scheduled a press event for October 15.

Even though the Pixel 3 XL is about to become a previous generation handset in the Pixel family, it's still a capable flagship. Here are the pertinent specs:
  • Display: 6.3-inch QHD+ OLED display (523 pixels per inch)
  • Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 845
  • RAM: 4GB
  • Storage: 64GB
  • Front Cameras: Dual 8-megapixel sensors (wide-angle and normal FoV)
  • Rear Camera: 12.2-megapixel (f/1.8)
  • Connectivity: Wi-Fi 5 + Bluetooth 5.0
  • Dimensions and Weight: 6.2 x 3 x 3 inches, 184 grams
  • MSRP: $899 (Buy for $549.99 at Best Buy)
There are phones with faster processors and more cameras, though at the discounted price, it's hard to complain about the specs. And though there is just a single rear camera, we found the Pixel 3 XL to be capable of taking excellent photos, even if only using the auto mode (as the average user is probably apt to do).

Performance is no slouch, either. Yes, there is a newer Snapdragon 855 available on other flagship phones, and even an 855+ on some handsets. Still, the 845 is an octa-core processor that does not feel slow by any means.

That said, the recent introduction of the OnePlus 7T starting at $599 tempers this deal somewhat. It's $50 more than the discounted price on the Pixel 3 XL, but that nets users a faster display (90Hz), a top-end processor (Snapdragon 855+), more memory (8GB), and twice the amount of built-in storage. It's not yet available to order, though—it releases on October 18.
