Motorola Moto 360 Android Wear Smartwatch Falls To $179 At Best Buy And Amazon

If you’re having Apple Watch fatigue (pre-orders just opened up early this morning), you’ll be glad to know that there great news coming from the Android Wear camp today. Those looking to score a deal on the hottest-selling Android Wear smartwatch, the Motorola Moto 360, can do so right now via Best Buy and Amazon.

Both retailers are selling the smartwatch for $179, which is a significant discount from the normal selling price of $249. The $179 price is for models of the Moto 360 equipped with a leather band. If you prefer a metal band, it will cost you $219 at Best Buy and Amazon.

We have no idea how long these sale prices will last, but if you’ve been on the fence about purchasing a Moto 360 — or any Android Wear device for the matter — now is the time to lay your hands on one of the best smartwatches currently available on the market (you can check out the HotHardware review right here).

This Moto 360 sale also comes at a time when Google is reportedly working on an iOS companion app that would allow Android Wear users to pair their smartwatches with an iPhone. With a price tag hovering at around half the price of the $349 Apple Watch Sport, this could be a nice alternative option for iPhone users looking to tiptoe into the smartwatch market (that is if the report turns out to be true).
