Microsoft Sweetens Surface Pro 3 Discounts, Offers Up To $150 Off

With all of these dollar-off promotions for the Surface Pro 3, Microsoft should just go ahead and institute a permanent price for the versatile tablet. While Microsoft has knocked off up to $100 from the price of the Surface Pro 3 in months past, it’s upping the ante this week with up to a $150 discount.

The base Core i3/64GB models and Core i5/128GB models retain their $100 discounts, priced at $799 and $899 respectively. But the higher tier SKUs — which include the Core i5/256GB, Core i7/256GB, and Core i7/512MB — all come with a built-in $150 discount. That means that these SKUs are now available for $1149, $1399, and $1799 respectively.

SurfacePro3Primary Print

As before, Microsoft is including a free sleeve in with the deal if you’re up for basic colors like black, gray, red, and blue along with some hideous prints. Maybe we shouldn’t be too hard on the floral and plaid prints offered, as you can’t really complain about a freebie...

The base $799 system features a fourth generation 1.5GHz Intel Core i3-4020Y processor with 4GB of memory and a 64GB SSD. The $1799 range-topping model comes with a 1.5GHz Intel Core i7-4650U processor with 8GB of memory and a 512MB of RAM. All Surface Pro 3 models come equipped with a 12.1-inch 2160 x 1440 ClearType display, 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.0, and a full-size USB 3.0 port.

he Surface Pro 3 weighs in a 1.76 pounds and can last up to 9 hours per charge.
