Best Buy has been offering some very good sales over the last few months. Right before the Super Bowl, the electronics retailer had smoking deals on big screen TVs. Right now Best Buy is offering excellent deals on a nice laptop from Microsoft, the Surface Laptop 2, and on the Apple iPhone X.
The base Surface Laptop 2 is on sale at a $200 discount off the regular $999 price right now making it $799. We haven't seen prices that low since Christmas. That gets you the latest generation Surface Laptop 2 with an 8th gen Intel Core i5 processor, 128GB SSD, 8GB of RAM, and Windows 10 Home. The display is a 13.5-inch unit, and it has a native resolution of 2256 x 1504. The Surface Laptop 2 does support stylus input with the Surface Pen or compatible device.
The Surface Laptop 2 has a backlit keyboard, and in this configuration the only color option is platinum. The notebook measures 0.57-inches thick, 12.1-inches wide, and 8.79-inches deep; It's very portable at 2.76 pounds.
On the Apple front, Best Buy has the iPhone X with 64GB of storage on at a $200 discount from the regular $899 price. The catch is to get the smartphone at that price; you must activate it with a carrier today. If you want the device unlocked to activate later, you will fork over another $50 with the device costing $749.99. Best Buy has the smartphone in space gray or silver, and it can be activated through them with Verizon, AT&T, or Sprint; T-Mobile fans are out of luck.
