Get Apple's Second-Gen AirPods On Sale For $20 Off With This Hot Amazon Deal

Apple just launched its second-generation AirPods a month ago, and surprisingly, they are already on sale. The sale comes at a time when the AirPods have been rather hard to come by, even from Apple retail stores.

Amazon is currently selling the AirPods with Charging Case for $139.99, which is $20 off the regular retail price. The only downside to the deal is that they aren't actually in stock; they will be back in stock on May 10th. But luckily, Amazon is still allowing you to place an order so that they'll ship one they come back in stock. Of course, you'll get free shipping if you're an Amazon Prime member.

We should mention that this the standard version of the second-generation AirPods, which come with a regular Charging Case. This case recharges the AirPods via a Lightning cable. The AirPods with Wireless Charging case, unfortunately, aren't on sale. They are still selling at the retail price of $199.99. This particular version has the advantage of being able to wirelessly charge using the Qi standard (you can also recharge it with a Lightning cable).

The second-generation AirPods use Apple's new H1 chip, which allows the wireless earbuds to support hands-free "Hey Siri". You can initiate phone calls, control music, or query the digital assistant to answer questions without lifting a finger. The inclusion of the H1 chip also means that talk time with the AirPods has been increased by roughly 50 percent.

At this point, we don't know how long Amazon’s sale pricing will last, but if you were on the fence about getting a set of new AirPods, perhaps now is the chance to strike while the iron is hot. You can hit up the deal by clicking the following link.
