Ford Mustangs are known for offering a lot of performance for a semi-reasonable price. However, the newest member of the Mustang family is about to offer a whole lot of performance at a price that will likely start at around $75,000 or more.

Witness the 2020 Mustang Shelby GT500, which promises supercar-slaying performance along with enough high-tech gadgets to make even 007 envious. At the heart of the vehicle is a 5.2-liter supercharged V8 engine that pumps out in excess of 700 horsepower. Rumors suggest that the engine could out around 750 horsepower and 700 lb-ft of torque. On the first point, all Ford is saying at the moment is that the vehicle hit 60 mph in about 3.5 seconds and will cover the 1/4-mile mark in less than 11 seconds. As for price, the Mustang Shelby GT350 starts at $59,140 so you can expect perhaps $75,000 or more for the Mustang Shelby GT500.
