If you are a fan of Titanfall, and the battle royale genre as well, you may soon be in for a real treat. Rumor has it that Apex Legends, a battle royale Titanfall spin-off, will be released as soon as Monday, February 4th. The game is reportedly free-to-play and will be available on PC, Xbox One, and Playstation 4. eSports consultant Rod Breslau stated on Twitter that the game will feature, “classes/heroes with unique abilities, maximum of 60 players per server, maximum of 3 players per team (trios) to complement each other.” Another tipster remarked that the game is a mixture of Titanfall, Overwatch, and Blackout from Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. Titanfall 2 Like the first two Titanfall... Read more...
If you’ve been showering enemies with death and destruction in Titanfall 2 for the past month, then you’ll be happy to learn that the first round of DLC is just around the corner. Respawn announced that the game’s first DLC pack, entitled Angel City's Most Wanted, is arriving on November 30th. As its name suggests, this DLC gives gamers access to the Angel City map that was popular in the original Titanfall. If you preordered Titanfall 2, the map will be available to you on November 30th — everyone else gains access on December 3rd. Other niceties in store for gamers include the Wingman Elite Pistol and six all-new Titan Kits. Best of all, this content is being provided free of charge for Titanfall... Read more...
Suit-up mech pilots! Titanfall 2 has landed! Developer Respawn has returned with a sequel to its frenectic-paced FPS from 2014, offering yet even more stylistic wall-running, double-jumping and a bit of mech-on-mech action peppered throughout. Titanfall 2 is not your average first-person shooter, to say the least. The original TitanFall was fun but quaint affair that felt under supported, with DLC distribution that essentially fragmented the community. Acknowledging this shortcoming  for the sequel, EA and Respawn are promising that all additional content made available post-purchase, (maps, cosmetics, missions, modes etc.), will be free of charge to all who own Titanfall 2. Moreover the... Read more...
The wait for Titanfall 2 is almost over. It will arrive to PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One at the end of next month. In the meantime, if you're looking for a reason to splurge on a graphics card upgrade for your computer, NVIDIA posted a few minutes of awesome game play footage showing the title running at a 4K Ultra HD resolution at 60 frames per second on a Titan X. Not that you have to go out and buy a Titan X to play Titanfall 2 at a 4K resolution at 60 FPS. Developer Respawn Entertainment recommends a GeForce GTX 1080 graphics card, along with an Intel Core i7-6700K processor (or equivalent), 16GB of RAM, 45GB of storage space, and a 512Kbps Internet connection or better to achieve the same... A new Titanfall game is right around the bend, but if you're planning to play Titanfall 2 in all its graphical glory at a 4K Ultra HD resolution, you better bring a serious arsenal of hardware to the fight. Developer Respawn and publisher Electronic Arts revealed Minimum, Recommended, and Ultra 4K60 specs (4K resolution at 60 frames per second), with the latter calling for an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 graphics card. You'll also need an Intel Core i7-6700K processor or equivalent, 16GB of RAM, 45GB of available storage space, and a 512Kbps Internet connection or faster. So basically you'll need a big and burly graphics card (only the new Titan X is faster than the GeForce GTX 1080), a screaming... Read more...
PC gamers who were hoping to test Titanfall 2 are out of luck. The Titanfall 2 multiplayer beta will be open to Xbox One And PS4 on August 19th - 21st and August 26th - 28th, but not open to PC. The super rad beta trailer which “welcomes back pilots” is not helping with the console envy. The main point of the beta is to test stress Repawn Entertainment’s servers and prove whether or not they can scale. The company technically only needs test one platform since the servers are per-platform. However, it decided to open the beta to two different platforms in order to get even more results.  Why the heck will PC players be unable to participate in the open beta? Vince Zampella,... We learned this morning that Mass Effect: Andromeda is being delayed until 2017, but it looks as though Electronic Arts its right on track for a 2016 debut for Titanfall 2. The mech-infused game is scheduled to land during fiscal Q3 according to EA CEO Andrew Wilson, which means that it should blast onto B&M and digital store shelves somewhere between October and the end of December (barring any last-minute hiccups). Interestingly enough, the launch timeframe will put Titanfall 2 right up against Battlefield 1, which will launch on October 21st. But Wilson isn’t worried about cannibalization and indicates that there is plenty of room in the $4.5 billion first-person shooter category for both... Read more...
