We know you think we're crazy, but RCA has a technology that could one day (soon) prove that scenario correct. Shown for the first time this month in prototype form, the Airnergy is a hotspot power harvester that can convert Wi-Fi signals that are just floating by into DC power for charging. But by using a new software utility for shopping at websites that don't yet accept PayPal payments, PayPal allows you to submit a number for each transaction that is recognized as a valid MasterCard number. But they will build a shrine to the guy if he manages to slash credit card fees by pioneering micropayments on the web.
