Nintendo has been doing well with the cool Labo Toy-Con kits that it launched last year. Nintendo has now announced a new addition to its lineup: the Labo VR Kit. These kits allow gamers to build cardboard accessories for the Switch that turn it into a VR gaming platform. The Starter Set + Blaster offers a headset that appears to have lenses inside for the Switch and a cardboard blaster. After buying that starter set, gamers can add a couple of expansion sets. Expansion Set 1 includes a camera, and an elephant add on. Nintendo unveiled its Labo Kits in January as a way for gamers of all ages to build cardboard devices that will work with the Switch console. The Labo concoctions are made to be used as controller accessories that work with software that runs on the Switch. Nintendo has announced that it would be integrating Labo kits into classroom courses in cooperation with Institute of Play. The Institute of Play website says that this program is open to schools around the nation if teachers apply and are using STEM, STEAM, or Maker courses in their curriculum. Nintendo has done something very cool with the Switch giving gamers of all ages the ability to build cardboard concoctions that can be used to control video games and software. We've seen a few of the Labo controllers so far including a motorcycle controller that could be used to control Mario Kart. Nintendo's third Labo kit has now been announced and it is something that fans of Mario Kart may find to be very appealing. The name of the kit is Toy-Con 03: Vehicle Kit and it sells for $69.99 and will launch September 14.
