The Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat is a known quantity around these parts, mainly because of its positively monstrous supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine that pumps out 707 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque. All of that power is sent to the rear wheels which will quickly turn into a smoky mess if you want to do some glorious burnouts. While we always thought that the Charger SRT Hellcat had muscle car good looks, the 2020 Charger SRT Hellcat Widebody makes this hulking sedan look downright devilish. Both vehicles pack in a supercharged 6.2-liter Hemi engine generating 707 horsepower and top speeds in excess of 200mph. Cadillac isn’t about to let Dodge hog the spotlight when it comes to high-powered, German slaying hyper sedans; so today it’s launching its third generation CTS-V and it sure is a beauty. With all due respect to Jackson Galaxy, the famed cat behaviorist featured on Animal Planet's "My Cat From Hell," some cats just aren't meant to be tamed. Dodge's 2015 model Challenger SRT with its supercharged 6.2 Hemi V8 engine, also known as the Hellcat, is one of them. The Hellcat engine in what Dodge is pimping as "the most powerful muscle car ever" outputs 707 horsepower and 650 lb.-ft of torque, though if that's too much for your commute around town, just use the black key fob to limit the engine to 500 horsepower. When you need the added power -- at the racetrack or when some punk kid in a souped-up Civic revs his engine at a red light (on an abandoned road, of course) -- the red key... Read more...
