Now, we have an official confirmation of the phone from Verizon Wireless as well as a release date—September 22. Word on the street suggests Verizon Wireless is preparing to launch quite a few handsets this month. The Pantech Breakout is expected to be among the phones launching this month. Now, thanks to leaked information, we know a little bit more about what this smartphone will offer. The Pantech Breakout will be an LTE-enabled smartphone that is suppose to compete with some of Verizon Wireless's top of the line handsets such as the HTC Thunderbolt and Samsung Droid Charge.
