Serious Sam SE is another First Person Shooter we like to use for OpenGL testing. What is interesting about this game is that it detects your video card, and automatically tries to optimize the game to work with the card. To keep the playing field level, we used the ?Maximum Quality? script that Anthony Tan put together, and left the other settings at their defaults.

Serious Sam: The Second Encounter
Move over Duke Nukem, the new Alien-bashing king has arrived

This graph shows the same breakdown that we saw with Quake; basically the GF cards pull away from the Radeon, with the Ti 4200 and Ti 4600 cards neck and neck at the lower resolutions.

Anti-Aliasing Tests:

The GF4 Ti 4200 still keeps up respectable frame rates when Anti-aliasing is enabled, easily doubling that of the Radeon. The Ti 4600 still reigns supreme?
