T-Mobile Readies Launch of Motorola Cliq 2

We'll be seeing a ton of new products next week at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, one of which will likely include the Motorola Cliq 2. But who wants to wait? A handful of images of this new phone have been leaked to the Web courtesy of Cell Phone Signal, the same site that managed to post the first photos of the Dell Streak 7.

In case you haven't guessed it, the Cliq 2 is Motorola's followup to the original Cliq. The sequel will sport a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard with a somewhat funky honeycomb design, a 5MP camera with built-in LED flash, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, GPS, and a new version of MotoBlur with a handful of new widgets to play around with. There's also talk that this could end up being T-Mobile's first HSPA+ phone for 2011.

No word on which version of Android it's going to ship with, though we're crossing our fingers for Gingerbread. Look for T-Mobile to offer the Cliq 2 starting on or around January 19, 2011.
