Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Blitzes E3 With This Thrilling 14-Minute Gameplay Trailer

Although Star War Jedi: Fallen Order was first announced back at E3 2018, we're getting our first real in-depth look at the game thanks to footage that Electronic Arts delivered today at E3 2019. As we already,Jedi: Fallen Order was developed by Respawn -- the same development studio being Titanfall and Apex Legends.

The single-play Star Wars adventure centers on Cal Kestis, which managed to escape Order 66 (as portrayed in Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith) and is currently on the run from The Empire’s Second Sister and a band of Purge Troopers. The footage seen in the 14-minute gameplay trailer below takes place on the Wookie planet Kashyyyk, where Kestis is tasked with piecing together what's left of the Jedi Order.

This wouldn't be a Star Wars property without a lovable droid of some sort to tag along with, and Jedi: Fallen Order has BD-1. A number of "Force" powers are shown in the gameplay trailer including the ability to freeze enemies in place, pull enemies towards him, and grab objects within the environment to use (like swinging from vines).

Kestis is voided by Cameron Monaghan, while Oscar Winner Forrest Whitaker lends his voice for the character Saw Gerrera (the same character he portrayed in the remarkably well put together Rogue One: A Star Wars Story).

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is scheduled to be released on November 15th. 2019. It will be available for the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms.
