Yes! Red Dead Redemption 2 PC Release Confirmed By New Leak
PC gamers who felt left out by Rockstar because of no mention of Red Dead Redemption 2 coming to the PC should be thrilled to hear that's not the case. One of the developers on the game accidentally let the existence of the PC version slip by posting it to a LinkedIn profile. The profile lists that the dev worked on Red Dead Redemption 2 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
This is good news for PC gamers as it is the first direct confirmation that the game will land on platform. Pity was taken on the hapless developer by VG247 and his name was blocked out of the screenshot, so maybe he won’t get the ax for what seems to have been an honest mistake. Whoever the dev is, he lists that he was a Programmer Rockstar Leeds from June 2009 through October 2016 and has worked on Beaterator for the iPhone, L.A. Noire for PS3, Xbox, and PC, and GTA V for console and PC.
We would assume if Rockstar feels like dropping an ax on someone for the weekend, HR could certainly figure out who the culprit was. Another tidbit is that the developer who leaked information regarding the PC version has now removed it from the LinkedIn profile.
Gamers are going nuts over Red Dead Redemption 2, though Rockstar delayed the game and said it would launch in Spring 2018. The company came back and delayed the game again until October 2018. At least we have a new game trailer from last month to get excited about.
