Razer is adding another compact keyboard to its enormous lineup of gaming keyboards with the launch of the Reclusa Mini 65%, a wireless plank featuring hot-swappable Hall Effect magnetic key switches, an 8,000Hz polling rate like the Huntsman V3 TKL 8KHz, and a few other interesting bells and whistles for a relatively approachable $129.99.

That's not quite as affordable as the Reclusa X Mini 65%, but it's certainly more fleshed out. For one, the newer model is a wireless deck, whereas the X model is a wired keyboard. The other key addition is Hall Effect magnetic switches (a feature that's becoming more popular in keyboards), which allow users to adjust the actuation point anywhere from 0.1mm to 4.0mm. That means gamers can configure keys to respond to light touches for competitive play, or deeper presses to help avoid accidental inputs.

The switches also support Rapid Trigger tech, which resets a key as soon as it begins moving upward rather than waiting for it to return to a fixed reset point.

"Rapid Trigger allows you to reset keys at the slightest lift of a finger, so you can perform repeated keystrokes far more rapidly. For FPS, this translates to more responsive in-game movement and greater precision. Games such as Counter-Strike 2 and Valorant have mechanics that penalize accuracy while moving, so being able to get into a stationary position faster than your opponent significantly increases your aiming," Razer explains.

Razer's Snap Tap feature is included as well, allowing the keyboard to prioritize the latest input between two selected keys. Other options include Snap Flex, Dynamic Keystroke, and Dual-Keypress Priority, giving gamers more control over how inputs behave, compared to a standard keyboard.

Other amenities include doubleshot ABS keycaps in a three-tone color scheme, per-key Chroma RGB lighting with south-facing LEDs, and a multi-function dial for adjusting settings such as volume and brightness. Six onboard profiles allow users to save different configurations.

Finally, Razer also touts tri-mode connectivity, which lets users choose between HyperSpeed Wireless (2.4GHz), Bluetooth with support for up to three devices, or wired via USB-C.

Curiously, Razer doesn't mention the rated battery life in its press release or product page, which undoubtedly varies depending on the connection type (2.4GHz or Bluetooth) and whether the RGB lighting is enabled or disable.

The Razer Reclusa Mini is available now for $129.99. Alternatively, the Reclusa X Mini 65% can be had for $49.99.
