This is the season of savings and rather than wait for Black Friday, Best Buy is hosting an "Early Black Friday Deals and Doorbusters" sales event this weekend. There are all kinds of markdowns across the retailer's vast selection of hardware, including big discounts on prebuilt gaming PCs, one of which is a system with a GeForce RTX 5060 for under a grand.

Score iBuyPower Slate PC With A GeForce RTX 5060 For A Low $899.99

For a limited time, you can score this iBuyPower Slate gaming PC with a GeForce RTX 5060 for $899.99 at Best Buy (save $500). Not only is that a great price, it's also the least expensive setup with the same GPU at Best Buy.

The trade-off is that the CPU is a generation old—it's powered by an AMD Ryzen 5 8400F Phoenix chip based on Zen 4. AMD has since moved on to Zen 5 and has Zen 6 waiting in the wings, but there is still life left in Zen 4. For this particular slice of silicon, you're looking at a 6-core/12-thread chip with a 4.2GHz base clock, up to a 4.7GHz boost clock, 6MB L2 and 16MB L3 for 22MB of total cache, and a 65W TDP.

Other core specs include 16GB of DDR5-4800 memory and a 1TB NVMe solid state drive (SSD). We don't recommend going any less in either category, so it's nice to see that iBuyPower and Best Buy are not skimping at this price point.

Need more graphics firepower and have a bigger budget to play around with? If the answer 'yes' on both accounts, then gander this iBuyPower Element PC with a GeForce RTX 5070—it's on sale for $1,799.99 at Best Buy (save $400).

It costs nearly twice as much, though you do get some notable upgrades for the money. For one, this one steps up to a GeForce RTX 5070 with more CUDA (6,144 versus 3,840) cores, more VRAM (12GB GDDR7 versus 8GB GDDR7) on a wider bus width (192-bit versus 128-bit), and more of just about everything.

You also get twice as much system memory on this setup with 32GB of slightly faster DDR5-5200 RAM, while the storage is the same at 1TB.

Finally, for the CPU, this one steps up to a more modern Ryzen 7 9700F Granite Ridge chip based on Zen 5. It's an 8-core/16-thread configuration on a newer architecture with a faster top clock speed at 5.5GHz, and more cache (8MB L2 and 32MB L3 for 40MB total) to boot.
