Acer Aspire S24 All-in-One PC Rocks 8th Gen Core, Ultra Slim Design And Integrated Qi Charging
The IPS display itself measures 23.8-inches diagonally and has a Full HD resolution. The display, which has 178-degree viewing angles, is framed by incredibly narrow 0.106-inch bezels all around, which give the Aspire S24 an impressive 90 percent screen-to-body ratio. The display is tiltable from -5 to 25 degrees and includes Acer ExaColor, BluelightShield and Flickerless technologies.
On the hardware front, Acer is offering up an 8th generation Intel Core i5 processor paired with 12GB of DDR4-2400 memory. Storage is plentiful, with a 1TB HDD serving as a repository for your documents, pictures, and videos. When it comes to wireless connectivity, Intel 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2 are included in the mix. As for physical connections, USB 3.1 Type-C, USB 3.1 Type-A, USB 2.0, Gigabit LAN and HDMI ports are provided.
And for those that have a smartphone that supports Qi Wireless charging, there is a charging pad built into the top of the Aspire S24's system base. There's also an SD reader included should you need to offload images/videos from a D-SLR. Rounding out the Aspire S24's featureset is a 2.1-channel system with two 2-watt speakers and a built-in subwoofer. Acer TrueHarmony and Dolby Audio Premium are supported to enhance the listening experience.
The Aspire S24 will be available later this month in the United States priced at $879.99.
