Apple is famous for protecting its intellectual property (IP) and has gone so far as to sue folks for things that have absolutely nothing to do with iPods, iPhones, or even music. Since Apple has been awarded a trademark on the "There's an app for that" slogan, we hope they don't decide to take a club to the kid's... Read more...

The Kindle is only available in China's grey markets, however. A seller in Beijing... Read more...

We know that Apple isn't a fan of Adobe Flash, and won't support it on its iOS products, pushing HTML 5 instead. Adobe, while definitely not agreeing with that stance, is nothing if not pragmatic. Thus, at Adobe's MAX 2010 event on Thursday, the company demo'ed a Flash-to-HTML5 converter.  The product is simply a tech demo for now, but... Read more...
Apple's new MacBook Air eschews a standard SSD format, meaning it doesn't have the SSD fit into a drive bay. Rather, the SSD plugs into a standard mini PCI express socket, similar to a stick of RAM. That said, third party upgrade options will be limited, although the first third-party solution has been announced. PhotoFast has announced a... Read more...
