Lenovo had a lot of new products on display at CES 2018, and we were on hand to get a hands-on look at what the company has in store for the first half of the year. Of course, the stars of the show were no doubt the newest members of the ThinkPad X1 family. These include the X1 Carbon, X1 Yoga and X1 Tablet. All of the systems have been upgraded with 8th generation Intel Core processors (up to a Core i7) and feature both USB Type-C (3.1) and Thunderbolt 3 connectivity. Lenovo is prepping for a pretty serious overhaul of its product lineup for 2018, and the first wave of new product introductions starts with its mainstream ThinkPad lineup. These include updates to the existing ThinkPad T and X Series along with the announcement of the all-new L Series. We gave you a quick look at Lenovo’s new displays, the ThinkVision Pro2840m and ThinkVision 28 when they were announced on Sunday, but today we had a chance to check them out live in Lenovo’s suite. First up, you’ll see the ThinkVision Pro2840m which is a 28-inch 4k monitor that will sell for $799. This monitor features a 3840x2160 resolution with 300-nit brightness and 5ms response time. The LT1423p is a 13.3-inch display with a 10-point multi-touch Gorilla Glass screen featuring an anti-reflection and anti-fingerprint surface. It's designed primarily for traveling professionals who might benefit from having a second screen to play with, and a high-quality one at that.
