Microsoft just flipped the switch to send the Xbox One July Update to customers. The July Update (version 1806) is part of the Redstone 4 development branch, which is analogous to the April 2018 Update on the Windows 10 PC side of things. The July Update brings support for FastStart, which we first discussed last month. According to Microsoft, FastStart identifies "which files are needed to begin playing and prioritizes" those files to download from the onset. Microsoft pushed the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update out the door last month, and is well along in the development process for the next major release of Windows 10. This upcoming release is part of the Redstone 4 development branch, and Microsoft has just sent out a new build to Windows Insiders on the Fast ring: Windows 10 Build 17035. This new build brings an oft-requested feature to the Microsoft Edge browser: the ability to mute individual tabs that may be playing [annoying] audio.
