Over that last few years, OnePlus has earned a reputation for offering well-appointed, high-performance mobile devices that compete with other contemporary flagships, but with highly aggressive pricing. When we looked at the OnePlus 7 Pro back in June, or the OnePlus 6T before that, we declared both handsets leaders, in terms of value and performance. With the upcoming OnePlus 7T, which is due to start shipping in just a few days, OnePlus is trying to capture that status again. Looking at the OnePlus 7T’s list of features and hardware specifications, it appears to be a premium Android phone in every sense of the word. The device is built upon Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 855+ mobile... Read more...
Somewhere along the line, smartphones went from being pricey at the upper echelon, to downright expensive, requiring users to pay through the nose for the highest end handsets. OnePlus has always been a refreshing change of pace in the top tier smartphone sweepstakes. Its new OnePlus 7T flagship phone carries on that tradition by assembling some of the best components in a package that is comparatively affordable. By that we mean the new OnePlus 7T starts at $599. Yes, that's not exactly chump change, but you could spend in the neighborhood of twice as much as some other flagship phones, when decked out with the most RAM and storage available. What's remarkable about the $599 price point is OnePlus... Read more...
When it comes to unreleased smartphones, leaks are inevitable prior to launch. OnePlus hasn’t been shy about revealing images, videos and even specifications for its unreleased smartphones prior to launch (on its own terms), and it is at it again with the upcoming OnePlus 7T. OnePlus CEO Pete Lau provided two shots of the rear of the OnePlus 7T accompanied by a few design sketches of the smartphones. On the back, we can clearly see a black circular pod that houses three camera sensors arranged horizontally. Below the camera area is a circular LED flash. According to a recent leak via Twitter, it's rumored that the three cameras will consist of a 48MP wide angle sensor, 16MP ultra-wide-angle... Read more...
We finally have a reveal date for the next-generation flagship smartphone from OnePlus. The company confirmed this morning that its OnePlus 7T Series of smartphones will debut on September 26th, which is a little over a week away from today. Unfortunately, the invite that OnePlus sent out to the press is very light on details, other than to reference the return of the 90Hz display that debuted on the OnePlus 7 Pro earlier this year (read the HotHardware review here). However, we're nearly certain that the OnePlus 7T Pro will be powered by the potent Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ processor that is targeted at gaming phones. According to a recent leak regarding the OnePlus 7T Series, the OnePlus... Read more...
We've seen renders and real-life images of a new OnePlus 7T Pro that is allegedly coming later this year, but it appears that OnePlus has another smartphone in the works as well. OnePlus is known for packing a lot of features into its phones for hundreds less than the competition, and this new phone is confirmed to be cheaper than the OnePlus 7 Pro while keeping one of its defining features. The current OnePlus 7 Pro starts at $669, but OnePlus CEO Pete Lau says that this new device will be even more affordable. He didn't get into specifics, but maybe we'll see a device that dips back below the $600 price point? Lau did confirm, however, that even though this device will be cheaper,... Read more...
OnePlus is getting ready to release a pair new flagship smartphones, the OnePlus 7T Pro and OnePlus 7T. These handsets have been leaked quite extensively up to this point, including some recent renders that found their way to the web, but what about the specs? Well, yet another leak claims to have the skinny on the hardware and features that will make the OnePlus 7T series tick. According to Twitter user and self-proclaimed "tech enthusiast" Ishan Agarwal, the OnePlus 7T Pro and OnePlus 7T will launch on September 26 in India. He then goes on to list a set of specs without differentiating between the two models, though if we had to guess, the processor and display (at minimum) point to the OnePlus... Read more...
Barring a surprise, OnePlus is likely to dish up a new line of smartphones this fall, presumably the OnePlus 7T series. As such, the leaks have already started. One of them came all the way back in December, and as it turns out, that may have been an accurate photo of the OnePlus 7T after all. How so? Well, let's start with the initial leak. Self-proclaimed "tech enthusiast" Ishan Agarwal had posted an image to Twitter that he said was of a OnePlus device in the prototype/designing stage. "It is not final but this is probably how the device may end up looking," Agarwal wrote at the time. Check it out... EXCLUSIVE! Here's your first look at an upcoming OnePlus Device I don't know much about. This... Read more...
