If you’ve been losing sleep over rumors that Intel was planning to do away with socketed CPUs and move to soldered-in-place ball grid array chips, rest easy; the company told Maximum PC that it would stick with LGA sockets for the foreseeable future. Rumors are up and about over the supposed theft of the source code for Flagship Studios' Hellgate: London. Bill Roper of Flagship studios hasn't confirmed that anything theft has happened, but sources say that a lone chinese hacker lifted the code, and may be attempting to sell the code. "For those of you who don't know, Hellgate: London is the first project by ex-Blizzard developer Bill Roper and his new studio, the game has been at the last two E3's and looks to be shaping up very nicely. Shuttle went through a complete metamorphosis as a company a few years back, and they haven't looked back ever since. Their wildly successful line of "XPC" small form factor (SFF) PCs has taken off like no other physical incarnation of the PC has in a very long time. Not even Mr. Jobs could have predicted the kind of success this product line has enjoyed. I know, I know. It's Monday and I'm supposed to complain about how fast the weekend flew by, and that Monday's are the worst day of the week. But I had about as full a weekend and anyone could have, and I was actually looking forward to getting back to work this morning! First, we booked the reception hall and got our "Save the Date" magnets done. I went out for a nice meal with the better half and got a few engagement gifts. Major product launches don't seem to be getting any easier these days, at least on our side of the fence here in the online media community.
