Good evening friends, welcome back to HotHardware.  Things around the lab have been exceptionally busy today.  Marco, Dave, Jeff and the rest of the crew, have been busy working away on their respective benches with some pretty swank products.  I can't say much at this point in time, but the upcoming weeks should hail some pretty impressive reviews.  In the mean time, here is round two from the juicy-fairy. (NASDAQ: ATYT; TSX: ATY) today announced that customers who received a Half-Life 2 coupon with their purchase of a RADEON(R) 9600 or RADEON(R)... Read more...

Good evening friends, welcome back to HotHardware :)  With today being Canada Day, yours truly has been out enjoying the gorgeous weather.  With a gentle breeze, sunny skies and an ample supply of BEvERages, the day has gone by quite nicely.  However, there is work to be done.  So, before it gets much later, let's see what I can dig up for you... OCZ PowerStream 470W Power Supply @ ClubOC "Its been quite the voltage competition in the last nine months at ClubOC. First we had a modified Enermax power supply for our AMD testbed, then we pitched a new offering from ThermalTake up against the Enermax and the Thermaltake won by a surprisingly good margin. Next up we had a... Read more...
Good afternoon friends, N.J. here with another shot of Juice.  Things around the Canadian portion of the HH labs have been extremely hectic over the past few days.  With good things brewing at the day job and a GF dealing with a serious case of allergies, I have been stretched fairly thin.  However, there is always time to hook up my brothers and sisters with some juice... Cooler Master Wavemaster Case Review @ ClubOC "Matt has just wrapped up a sweet review on one of the nicest ATX enclosures I have ever seen, the Cooler Master Wavemaster. Good Evening Folks! Just in case you missed it, we've just posted a review of Asetek's new Antarctica WaterChill water cooling kit. We ran the WaterChill with its fans operating in both 12V (high-performance) and 7V (low-noise) modes, and compared its performance to Intel's stock P4 cooler and Thermalright's excellent SLK948U throughout. We know Asetek's Vapochill does a great job of cooling a CPU, but how does the WaterChill perform? Click here to find out!... Read more...
Water cooling is becoming increasingly more popular amongst hardcore overclockers.  Not only does water cooling provide the utmost in cooling potential, short of refrigeration, but it can also quiet things down significantly.  With today's processors producing upwards of 100 Watts of heat energy, cooling them down has becomes a difficult task.  Demand for high-performance cooling solutions has increased greatly, and certain so-called "extreme" cooling solutions are now becoming more mainstream.  Even your "average Joe" in the computer world is looking into water cooling as a effective method of cooling down their processors.  With the already... Good morning friends, I hope you survived the night :)  Myself, I kicked back for a little while and watch Scary Movie 3.  I found the last two movies of the series mildly funny; however, I won't be recommending this one to anyone.  If you haven't seen it, and are set on renting it, the pre-title sequence is the best part... ;) Mushkin Enhanced 1 GB PC4000 DDR Memory @ Systemcooling "Today we are going to look at some RAM from some people who have been providing memory to the enthusiast crowd for quite some time, Mushkin.
