Surprisingly, the Barracuda Green pulled out a win during the Media Center portion of the benchmark. At 129 MB/s, it was 21% faster than the WD RE4 and 42% faster than the Barracuda XT. Overall, the Barracuda Green holds the edge over Western Digital's Caviar Green drive in these four sub-tests.
