The system is also rather light and compact, weighing in at just 3lbs and measuring just 0.6" thin. In our review of the system, we found it to have excellent performance, exceptional build quality, and the audio from its unique, built-in sound bar far exceeds anything we've heard from an ultrabook this size.
Acer Predator Helios 300 ($1,194.99)
The Acer Predator Helios 300 is a high-end 15.6" gaming laptop with 1080p IPS display that has an ultra fast 144Hz refresh rate. The Intel Core i7-8750H inside is paired with a GeForce GTX 1060 with 6GB of dedicate memory. Acer also supplied the system with 16GB of DDR4 RAM and a speedy 256GB NVMe SSD.
Dell XPS 9370 ($1,399.99)
If you're shopping for an ultra-premium, lightweight PC with an excellent display, then the Dell XPS 9370 may be perfect. Widely regarded as one of the best notebooks, this compact 13.3" meachine measures just 0.46" thin at its thickest point, and it weighs a mere 2.68lbs, which makes it perfect for travel. The touchscreen display has a resolution of 3840x2160 and it supports 100 percent of the sRGB color gamut. Asus ROG Swift PG27UQ ($1,796.95)
If you really want to go all out on a tech gift for someone, there are few things that you can buy with as much of the wow factory as this display. Asus's ROG Swift PG27UQ is a 27" display with a 4K panel that has an ultra fast 144Hz refresh rate. The display also supports 99% of the Adobe RGB color gamut and it has a remarkably high contrast ratio to keep everything looking crisp and clear.
