Walmart And Best Buy Stock Up On Verizon iPhone 4 Units: Available Today!

Today is the day that many AT&T users, or cellphone users in rural parts of the country that can't get decent AT&T service, have been waiting for. Now that the existing Verizon Wireless customers have had a chance to claim their iPhone 4, Walmart is giving everyone else equal opportunity starting today. Rather than flocking to the Apple or Verizon store, smart shoppers will probably head to Walmart to beat the crowds and find way more checkout opportunities.

Select Walmart stores will be carrying the Verizon iPhone 4 starting today, with nearly 600 already stocked and ready to go. The 16GB model will sell for $199 on a 2-year contract, though there's no word on whether or not the 32GB model will be stocked.

In related news, Best Buy stores will also be carrying them, so you're probably better off heading to one of these two places rather than the obvious Apple/VZW stops. Good luck out there, you've waited an awful long time for this!
