Now, reliable gadget leaker Evan Blass has leaked the rear of the devices -- or rather, the rear portions of the devices that anyone actually cares about. The images show the main camera/fingerprint area of both smartphones. As previously reported, the Galaxy S9 gets a single main camera, while the Galaxy S9+ ups the ante with two cameras.

The primary camera on both smartphones is a 12MP unit with a variable aperture mechanism that can adjust from f/1.5 to f/2.4. The Galaxy S9+ has a second fixed aperture camera to add in snazzy bokeh effects that are common with today's flagship phones. According to Blass, both the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ will also adopt a “super slow-mo” video capture mode which enables 480fps recording at 720p resolution.
We should also note that the fingerprint sensor has moved from its previous awkward position beside the primary camera to just below it.
Other features on tap -- for U.S. market Galaxy S9 -- include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The Galaxy S9+ will be a cut above with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Both smartphones will incorporate 8MP selfie cameras, a 3.5mm headphone hack, USB-C connectivity, wireless charging, and some sort of upgraded facial recognition technology (perhaps putting Samsung on par with Face ID on the iPhone X.
Both smartphones will be unveiled at a Samsung "Unpacked" event on February 25th, and will ship on March 15th.
