The Quake themed sequel for the popular Enemy Territory series is getting some special coverage at where else but Quakecon. AMDZone's coverage of the event details some of the workings of the highly anticipated game, such as vehicle mechanics(and physics), character animation, and some of what we can expect from the rest of the event.
"The demo was impressive, and included 8 live players. Several classes including Spec Ops, and medic were shown off. Each has special abilities, and gamers will be glad to know that hitting the F key is all you need to do when you are in an area that requires that ability. No fumbling for the right key will be necessary. To further speed up play, and intensify battles Splash Damage has implemented action points on the maps that are clearly marked with arrows."
