If you are in the market for a brand new
Xbox One S gaming console,
Microsoft is looking to make an offer that you can’t refuse. The Xbox One S is currently available for as low as $299 for bundles with the 500GB hard drive, but now the company is throwing in an additional free game if you purchase a brand new console.
Microsoft is running the promotion from November 4th through November 12th via the Microsoft Store and its participating retail partners (Amazon, Target, GameStop, Best Buy, Walmart). The promotion is available for new Xbox One or Xbox One S consoles. So if you were to purchase a new Xbox One S Gears of War 4 Limited Edition Bundle (2TB), not only would you get a copy of Gears of War 4, but you can choose from a lengthy list of other hot titles to add to your collection. In fact, you aren’t even limited to what medium that you can select from: you can get your free additional game either via a digital download or as a physical disc (if you’re old school).
Just in case you were wondering, here is the full list of 20 games (as presented via the Microsoft Store), one of which you can select to add to your bundle:
- Assassin's Creed Syndicate
- Batman: Return to Arkham
- Battlefield 1
- Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare
- Far Cry Primal
- FIFA 17
- Forza Horizon 3
- Gears of War 4
- Hasbro Family Fun Pack
- Just Dance 2016
- Just Dance 2017
- Just Dance Disney Party 2
- Mafia III
- NBA 2K17 Early Tip-Off Edition
- Quantum Break
- ReCore
- The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition
- Titanfall 2
- Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege
- Tom Clancy's The Division
Interestingly enough, to test out the promotion, we selected the
Xbox One S Battlefield 1 Special Edition Bundle (500GB) and added
Titanfall 2 to our cart. We were surprised to see that Microsoft is also throwing in a copy of
The Crew for free. So if you’re purchasing from the Microsoft Store, it looks as though you’ll be receiving at least three games (if you count the game included in the original bundle).
