Mutant X Case, Epowertec PSUs, PNY 6800 Ultra & a Special Message
Good morning everyone. I know I said I would see you next week, but I wanted to stop by and give you another news update. We also wanted to ask that we all take a moment to honor our armed forces and recognize the hard work and sacrifices they've made since 9/11. It's hard to believe it's been 3 years since that day. Surely the world has changed since then, going down a very dark and uncertain path. Thankfully we have the men and women of United States Armed Forces out there trying keep us safe. We should pray for each and every one of them overseas, hoping they make it home safe and thank the others who patrol our homeland so we can go about a "normal" life safely. Thank you!
Kingwin Mutant X Case @ Bjorn3D:
"Wanting to get away from the sometimes boring and average looking cases that are out on the market, Kingwin designed the Mutant X case for those who want to be a little on the wild side. Many of today's cases have a plain or modern and sterile look to them that may not appeal to everyone. The Mutant X is definitely not that type of case. Let's dive in and see what makes Kingwin's Mutant X stand out from the rest of the crowd!"
Epowertec Puma True450 & Cougar 470 power supplies @ Club Overclocker:
"We weren't disappointed the other times and it looks like Epower has done it again. This time they sent two power supplies for us to look at, the Puma True450 and the Cougar 470 watt power supplies. You may be thinking that the wattage seems a little low for todays high end systems, but it's not. The Puma is rated for a peak output of 520watts and the Cougar peaks a little higher than that. Either one of these units should give you more than enough power"
PNY Verto GeForce 6800 Ultra 256-MB Review @ Sharky Extreme:
"The PNY Verto GeForce 6800 Ultra 256-MB card follows a pretty standard format, and other than the Verto-branded cooling unit, it's extremely close to the reference design. The base core speed is 400 MHz, while the GDDR3 memory checks in at the default 1.1 GHz clock speed. The PNY card features dual DVI-I connectors (with dual 400 MHZ RAMDACs), and there are bundled VGA dongles for full compatibility. The cooling apparatus covers all of the core and memory hardware, and uses the basic NVIDIA pipe design, which is surprisingly quiet and much better than prior GeForce FX dual-slot cooling fans."
Dual Core Processing: Over-simplified, demystified and explained @ Short-Media:
"The latest buzz in the processor industry is about dual core processors. AMD may be the first to take the limelight with their announcement of dual core AMD Opteron processors set to launch in mid-2005 but Intel and IBM are cueing up their dual core processors as well."
OK folks, I mean it this time! See you next week!
