Motorola Xoom Tablet to Launch February 24th for $800
Good thing too, because the Xoom is going to cost $800. That seems high to us, though we suppose that's the luxury (for Motorola) of being first out the gate with a tablet built around Google's Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) platform.
For those who want to sign up with a 3G data plan with Verizon, the ad lists the following tiered options:
- 1GB Data Allowance: $20/month
- 3GB Data Allowance: $35/month
- 5GB Data Allowance: $50/month
- 10GB Data Allowance: $80/month
Data plans notwithstanding, how do you feel about the Xoom's launch price? Is $800 too steep, or a fair asking price for a first-gen Honeycomb tablet?
