Short of an official announcement, the most convincing proof that Motorola's Xoom tablet will launch on February 24th, 2011 (and not February 17th, 2011 as earlier reports indicated) is a Best Buy ad that's been floating around the Web. According to the ad, we're about two-and-a-half weeks away from launch, which gives you time to start saving.
Good thing too, because the Xoom is going to cost $800. That seems high to us, though we suppose that's the luxury (for Motorola) of being first out the gate with a tablet built around Google's Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) platform.
