Motorola Pro Smartphone Announced For European Market
If it walks like a Droid Pro, smells like a Droid Pro, and looks like a
Droid Pro...it must be a Droid Pro! Unless it's heading to Europe, and
then it's the simpler Motorola Pro. Announced in Mobile World Congress
(which just so happens to be in Europe), the new Motorola Pro is an Android-based phone with both a touch panel and a QWERTY keyboard.
There's Froyo, a 1GHz processor, 2GB of internal storage space, an SD card slot, optional 3G hotspot functionality, and lots of business tools: QuickOffice pre-loaded and email support (Corporate Sync, Gmail, POP3/IMAP embedded, Push Email, Yahoo Mail). There's also support for Flash Player 10.1, a multi-touch 3.1" panel, a 5MP camera (with dual LED flash), and security additions such as AuthenTec IPSec multi-headed VPN integration, remote wipe of device and SD card, and complex password support as well as device and SD card encryption. No word on a price or release date yet, but there's certainly a video explaining why it's worth your attention.
