Microsoft looking to Patent Verbs
Just when you thought it could not get worse than Donald Trump attempting to Trademark "You're Fired!"; now it appears that Microsoft is looking to patent verbs to be used in a new conjugation system designed to assist in learning foreign languages:
According to its patent application, the invention would overcome limitations in existing software that conjugates verbs, such as not identifying the correct conjugation when the infinitive form of the verb is misspelled or the inability to locate the proper verb in a foreign language when users only knows the word in their native language.
This system sounds intriguing and could potentially change the way people learn foreign languages. I studied French for 4 years and truly wish I had software like this!
