Microsoft's 500GB Xbox One Black Friday Bundle Sizzles With Free Game And $60 Gift Card For $299

Microsoft tasted the sweetness of victory during the month of October; it was the first time that the Xbox One had surpassed the PlayStation 4 in sales in months. You can chalk the victory up to aggressive pricing and the launch of Halo 5: Guardians.

Microsoft is getting even more aggressive on the pricing front today with a kickass deal on 500GB Xbox One console bundles. For starters, the console bundles — the Xbox One The LEGO Movie Videogame Bundle and Xbox One Gears of War: Ultimate Edition Bundle — are priced at a low $299, which is Microsoft’s new temporary low price for the console to spark holiday sales. But Microsoft is sweetening the deal by allowing customers to choose from one of the following three games at no additional cost:

  • Assassin's Creed Unity
  • Sunset Overdrive
  • Rare Replay

But that’s not all; Microsoft is also tossing in a $60 Microsoft Store gift code at no additional cost. You don’t get the code right away, however, as it will be emailed to you after your order is placed (it will arrive before December 14th according to Microsoft). Once you do receive your gift code, you can turn around and use the money to purchase an additional controller or another game if you prefer (we suggest Fallout 4).

This is a great time to purchase an Xbox One if you’ve been holding out. Not only are we seeing rock bottom pricing on the console, but Microsoft just recently released the New Xbox One Experience which brings a Windows 10-infused user interface makeover and Xbox 360 backwards compatibility.
