Lenovo Kicks Off MWC With Yoga Tablet 10 HD+ And DOit Apps
Mobile World Congress (MWC) is this week, and Lenovo is starting things off by announcing the successor to its original Yoga tablet, the Yoga Tablet 10 HD+. The device sports a 1920x1080 display, 1.6GHz Snapdragon processor, and runs Android 4.3 (with an OTA 4.4 update coming).
Other specifications include 2GB of RAM, up to 32GB of onboard storage, and 8MP rear- and 1.6MP front-facing cameras. There’s also 3G, Bluetooth 4.0, a G-sensor, and Dolby Advanced Audio.
Of course, the primary feature is the Yoga Tablet 10 HD+’s multimode capabilities, easily shifting between Hold, Tilt, and Stand modes to facilitate more convenient use for whatever you happen to be doing at the time.
Lenovo is also loading this tablet with “DOit” apps, which are designed for sharing, syncing, and protecting data on the device. The aforementioned apps are called “SHAREit”, “SYNCit”, and “SECUREit”, respectively. There’s also a “SNAPit” app for the camera that offers features such as burst mode, in low light situations, and so on, as well as in-app editing.
The Lenovo Yoga Tablet 10 HD+ will cost $349 when it debuts in April.
