HTC Legend Headed To AT&T

Although the label below doesn’t look very impressive, it hints at a possible upcoming announcement from HTC and/or AT&T that the wireless carrier will soon be carrying the HTC Legend smartphone. This new smartphone will operate on the 850 and 1900MHz WCDMA bands.

As the successor to HTC's Hero, the Legend offers a larger 3.2-inch AMOLED display and an optical trackpad surrounded by a clickable button. The Legend is HTC's first Android 2.1 device with the Sense UI. It also has a tough unibody design.

Other specs we've seen for overseas variants of this phone include:

  • 600MHz Qualcomm MSM7227 processor
  • 5 megapixel camera with LED flash
  • Bluetooth 2.1+EDR
  • Wi-Fi
  • Magnetic compass
  • 3.5mm headphone jack
  • 1300mAh battery
